General information

VASTConnect provides a platform connecting students seeking industrial attachments with companies posting vacancies. We do not guarantee placement, employment, or the accuracy of all user-submitted content.

User responsibility

Students and companies are responsible for verifying information, conducting their own due diligence, and complying with applicable laws and institutional requirements.

No background checks

VASTConnect does not conduct criminal background checks, qualification verification, reference checks, or on-site inspections of companies or students. Listings and profiles are user-generated. You must independently verify employers, students, and attachment opportunities before sharing personal information or accepting placements.

Never pay placement fees

Students should never pay money to secure an attachment, interview, or placement through this Portal. Requests for upfront fees, "processing charges", or payments to private accounts are red flags. Legitimate attachments should not require students to pay VASTConnect or employers for placement access.

Report suspicious listings

If you encounter a vacancy, company profile, or message that appears fraudulent, misleading, or requests payment, stop contact immediately and report it to hr@vastconnect.co.zw with as much detail as possible (listing title, company name, dates, and screenshots if available). We may remove content and suspend accounts while investigating.

Limitation of liability

VASTConnect Technology shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of this portal, including interactions between students and companies.
