Terms of Use

1. Who may use Car Sale

Car Sale connects vehicle buyers with sellers (direct owners and car sales agents/dealers) across Zimbabwe. Buyers may browse listings, enquire, unlock direct-owner contacts where offered, and contact agents. Sellers may register to list vehicles with photos, pricing, and contact details subject to these Terms.

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for your login credentials and activity under your account. Contact hr@vastconnect.co.zw or 0772 533 899 if you suspect unauthorised access.

2. Listings and seller types

Listings may include make, model, year, mileage, price (USD or ZiG), location, photos, description, and contact details. Sellers must label honestly whether they are a direct owner or an agent/dealer, and must disclose any agent fee clearly.

You represent that you have the right to sell or advertise each vehicle you list, that photos and details are accurate, and that listing the vehicle does not infringe third-party rights.

3. Fees and paid features

Browsing listings is free. Some features require payment:

• Direct-owner contact unlock ($1): Buyers may pay to reveal a direct owner's phone/email/WhatsApp where the listing is marked as owner-posted. Payment is verified before access is granted.
• Featured or promoted listings: May be offered subject to admin approval and stated fees.

Prices and payment methods (such as Paynow / EcoCash) are shown on the relevant pages. Refunds are at our discretion unless required by law.

4. Social promotion

When you consent at registration or listing upload, VASTConnect administrators may share listing details (including photos and contact CTAs) on approved channels such as our Facebook Page and WhatsApp campaigns. You can ask us to stop promotional sharing of a specific listing by contacting support; published posts already shared publicly may remain visible on those platforms.

5. Acceptable conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, stolen, duplicate, or fraudulent vehicle listings;
• Misrepresent price, mileage, ownership, accident history, or agent fees;
• Harass buyers or sellers, or use contact details for spam;
• Upload malware, unlawful content, or infringing media;
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the platform;
• Use Car Sale for any purpose other than legitimate vehicle buying and selling.

6. User content

You retain ownership of photos and text you submit. You grant VASTConnect a non-exclusive licence to store, display, and share that content on Car Sale and related VASTConnect properties for marketplace and consented promotional purposes.

7. No sale brokerage guarantee

VASTConnect is a listing and connection platform. We do not buy or sell vehicles ourselves, do not transfer ownership, and do not guarantee that any enquiry, payment, inspection, or sale will complete successfully.

8. Suspension

We may suspend accounts, remove listings, or restrict access for breach of these Terms, fraud risk, or harm to other users. Provisions that should survive termination (including liability limits) continue to apply.

9. Related policies

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. Site-wide VASTConnect policies also apply where relevant.
